Indications:

in the treatment of nicotine addiction. The use of Recigar is indicated in smoking cessation and reducing craving in people who want to stop smoking. The ultimate goal of preparation use is to permanently stop using nicotine-containing products.

Composition:

the active substance of the preparation is cytisine. Each tablet contains 1.5 mg of cytisine. The other ingredients are: tablet core: hypromellose, mannitol, maize starch, magnesium aluminum silicate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate. The composition of the coating: AquaPolish P green Project 16712 [hypromellose (E464), microcrystalline cellulose (E460), talc (E553b), glycerol, titanium dioxide (E171), quinoline yellow lake (E104), indigo carmine lake (blue 2) (E132)] , aroma, menthol powder (SC552873), aspartame (E951)].

Dosage:

take orally with a sufficient amount of water according to the following scheme. From day 1 to day 3, 1 tablet should be taken every 2 hours (6 tablets a day), from day 4 to 12, 1 tablet should be taken every 2.5 hours (5 tablets a day), from day 13 to 16. on the day 1 tablet every 3 hours (4 tablets a day), from the 17th to the 20th day 1 tablet every 5 hours (3 tablets a day), from the 21st to the 25th day 1-2 tablets should be taken day (up to 2 tablets). You should give up smoking no later than on the 5th day after starting therapy. You should not smoke while on treatment as this may increase the side effects. A smoker should give up smoking completely at the latest 5 days after starting treatment. If the treatment effect is unsatisfactory, treatment should be discontinued and can be started again after 2 to 3 months. Recigar should be taken orally with a sufficient amount of water. One pack of Recigar (100 tablets) is sufficient for a complete therapy. The treatment time is 25 days.

Contraindications:

Recigar is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed in the full version of the Summary of Product Characteristics, as well as in the case of: unstable angina, recent heart attack, clinically significant arrhythmias, recent stroke, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is not recommended to use the product in people under the age of 18, in the elderly (over 65). Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Recigar.
