Product description

The preparation "Respero Myrtol" is used as part of the complex therapy of acute and chronic bronchitis, with inflammation of the paranasal sinuses (sinusitis).

Compound

Active ingredient: 1 capsule contains 120 mg distillate of a mixture of rectified essential oils of eucalyptus, sweet orange, myrtle and lemon.

Excipients: medium chain triglycerides.

The composition of the capsule shell: gelatin, glycerin; sorbitol solution that does not crystallize (E 420); hydrochloric acid 13% (obtained from hydrochloric acid 25% and purified water); hypromellose acetate succinate; triethyl citrate; sodium lauryl sulfate; talc; dextrin; ammonium glycyrrhizate.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation inflammatory diseases of the stomach, intestines and biliary tract; severe liver dysfunction.

Dosage and administration

Capsules of the preparation "Respero Myrtol" are recommended to be taken 30 minutes before meals with plenty of cool water or other drinks.

Adults and children over 10 years of age are recommended to take 2 capsules 4-5 times a day with a clinical picture of acute inflammation. In a chronic process, take 2 capsules 3 times a day. The same dosage is recommended for long-term therapy. To facilitate morning sputum discharge in chronic bronchitis, it is recommended to take an additional 2 capsules of Respero Myrtol in the evening, before bedtime.

Children aged 3 to 10 years (this preparation is prescribed to children at a time when they can swallow the capsule on their own):

in the clinical picture of acute inflammation, children are recommended to take 1 capsule 4-5 times a day. In order to create conditions for improving sleep, the last dose should be taken at bedtime;
in a chronic process, take 1 capsule 3 times a day. The same dosing is recommended for long-term therapy;
to facilitate morning sputum discharge in chronic bronchitis, it is recommended to take an additional 1 capsule of Respero Myrtol in the evening, before bedtime.

The preparation should be used during the period of symptoms of the disease and within 2-4 days after their disappearance.

Adverse reactions

There are also isolated cases of allergic reactions, including skin rash, itching, redness, swelling of the face, shortness of breath, circulatory disorders. In 1 case per 10,000, an exacerbation of cholelithiasis and urolithiasis may occur.
