Inosine-BCPP is used in the complex treatment of CHD (myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, heart rhythm disorders); in case of poisoning with digitalis preparations, for the treatment of cardiomyopathies of various genesis, myocarditis, myocardial dystrophy (on the background of physical overload, in infectious and endocrine diseases), liver diseases (hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty dystrophy), gastric and duodenal ulcers, uroporphyria, for the prevention leukopenia during irradiation. as a means that improves visual function, it is used in open-angle glaucoma with normalized (with the help of hypotensive preparations) intraocular pressure.

Inside before eating. the daily dose is set individually and is 0.6-2.4 g per day. usually, at the beginning of treatment, the preparation is prescribed in a daily dose of 0.6-0.8 g (1 tablet 3-4 times a day). with good tolerability of the preparation, the dose is gradually (within 2-3 days) increased initially to 1.2 g per day (2 tablets 3 times a day), later - to 2.4 g per day (4 tablets 3 times a day ). the duration of treatment is from 4 weeks to 1.5-3 months. with uroporphyria, inosine-BCPP is prescribed at 0.8 g per day (1 tablet 4 times a day). the duration of the treatment course is 1-3 months.

Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the preparation, gout.

Patients with increased sensitivity to the preparation may experience itching, redness of the skin. occasionally - tachycardia, increased level of urea in the blood, with long-term treatment - exacerbation of gout.

With renal insufficiency, the use of the preparation is possible only if the expected positive effect outweighs the possible risk of its use. there is no information on the negative impact of inosine-BCPP on drivers and other people who work with potentially dangerous machinery.

With other preparations, which can lead to a decrease in the effectiveness and safety of the use of preparations, have not been established so far.

With simultaneous use of INOSIN-BCPP with β-blockers of adrenoceptors, the effect of the preparation does not decrease. When used together with cardiac glycosides, the preparation can prevent the occurrence of arrhythmias.
