Riboxin is an anabolic preparation that has an antihypoxic and antiarrhythmic effect.

Complex treatment of ischemic heart disease (state after myocardial infarction, angina pectoris), heart rhythm disturbances, intoxication with cardiac glycoside preparations, treatment of cardiomyopathies of various genesis, myocardial dystrophies (on the background of heavy physical exertion, infectious and endocrine genesis), myocarditis; liver diseases (hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, fatty liver disease); prevention of leukopenia during irradiation; to improve visual function in open-angle glaucoma with normalized intraocular pressure.

1 ml of solution contains 20 mg of inosine;

excipients: hexamethylenetetramine, water for injections.

hypersensitivity to inosine or other components of the preparation;

hyperuricemia;

kidney failure;

gout.

Adults should use the preparation intravenously or drip (slowly), at a rate of 40-60 drops per minute.

For intravenous drip administration, the preparation should be diluted in 5% glucose solution or 0.9% sodium chloride solution (up to 250 ml). At the beginning of treatment, enter 200 mg (10 ml of a 2% solution) once a day, in the future, with good tolerance, the dose can be increased to 400 mg (20 ml of a 2% solution) 1-2 times a day. The course of treatment is determined individually, on average - 10-15 days.

Jet injection is possible for acute heart rhythm disturbances in a single dose of 200-400 mg (10-20 ml of 2% solution).

If itching and hyperemia of the skin appear, treatment with the preparation should be discontinued.

During treatment, it is necessary to monitor the level of urea concentration in the blood and urine. Renal failure is a limitation for the use of the preparation. In case of renal insufficiency, prescribing the preparation is appropriate only when, in the doctor's opinion, the expected effect exceeds the possible risk of use.

Studies of the effectiveness and safety of the preparation for this group of patients have not been conducted, so it should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

The preparation is not used in children due to the lack of data on the safety of use.

The preparation does not have a negative effect on the ability to drive a car and work with complex mechanisms.

It is possible to increase the manifestations of the symptoms of adverse reactions.

Treatment: withdrawal of the preparation, symptomatic therapy.

From the immune system, skin and subcutaneous tissue: allergic/anaphylactic reactions, including rash, itching, skin hyperemia, urticaria, anaphylactic shock.

From the cardiovascular system: tachycardia, arterial hypotension, which may be accompanied by headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, sweating.

On the part of metabolism, hyperuricemia, exacerbation of gout (with long-term use of high doses).

General disorders: general weakness, changes at the injection site (including hyperemia, itching).
