Active ingredients

"Schizandrin®" is a new plant hepatoprotector, the active ingredient of which, schizandrin, is a biologically active compound of the lignan group of Schizandra chinensis. Under the influence of Schizandrin®, the functions of hepatocytes are restored in case of liver lesions of various etiologies, the level of liver enzymes is normalized, the activity of markers of cytolysis, cholestasis, and immune inflammation decreases. "Schizandrin®" restores pathomorphological disorders in the structure of the liver tissue, reduces the activity of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alkaline phosphatase. "Schisandrin®" inhibits the production of highly sensitive C-reactive protein (CRP), tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α) by active neutrophils, Kupffer's cells and macrophages, helps to reduce free radical processes, inhibition of oxidative stress caused by dysfunction of mitochondria, thereby preventing necrosis and apoptosis of hepatocytes. "Schizandrin®" helps to normalize the symptoms of hepatic dysfunction (severity in the right hypochondrium, dyspeptic phenomena, including flatulence, appetite disorders, bitter taste in the mouth, nausea), reduce the manifestations of asthenic syndrome, increase exercise tolerance in patients with steatohepatitis (data of an open clinical study of the efficacy and safety of the dietary supplement "Schizandrin®" in the treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Indications for use

• non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, including non-alcoholic steatosis, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis with signs of liver fibrosis;
• toxic hepatitis (alcoholic, medicinal, medication-induced);
• in patients with ineffectiveness of previous courses of antiviral therapy for chronic viral hepatitis B and C and as therapy for accompanying chronic viral hepatitis B and C.

Contraindications

Individual sensitivity to components, pregnancy, breastfeeding period, children under 18 years of age, acute liver failure, decompensated liver cirrhosis. Prescribe with caution in case of exacerbation of chronic gastritis, cholecystitis, pancreatitis.

Method of administration and dosage

Adults take 1-2 tablets three times a day after meals. The course of admission is 3 months. In the future, the duration of use should be agreed with your doctor.
