Aerosol for inhalation, metered dose Seretide ™ Evohaler ™ is used for the treatment of bronchial asthma in patients who are indicated for combination therapy with a long-acting β2-agonist and an inhaled corticosteroid:

1 dose contains 25 mcg of salmeterol (in the form of salmeterol xinafoate) and 125 mcg of fluticasone propionate;

excipients: propellant HFA 134a.

Recommended doses.

Adults and adolescents over the age of 12 years: 2 inhalations of 25 mcg salmeterol / 125 mcg fluticasone propionate 2 times a day.

For the treatment of adults and adolescents with moderate persistent bronchial asthma (daily symptom onset, daily use of moderate to severe rapid relief and airflow restriction) Seretide ™ Evohaler ™ can be used as a starting maintenance therapy if rapid symptom control is desired. In such cases, the preparation is recommended to be used in a starting dose of 2 inhalations of 25 μg salmeterol / 50 μg fluticasone propionate 2 times a day. After achieving control of the symptoms of bronchial asthma, the possibility of reducing the volume of therapy by a step down and prescribing only inhaled corticosteroids should be considered.

Children 4-12 years old: 2 inhalations of 25 mcg salmeterol / 125 mcg fluticasone propionate twice a day.

The maximum daily dose of fluticasone propionate in Seretide ™ Evohaler ™ is 100 mcg 2 times a day.

Seretide ™ Evohaler ™ should be used by pregnant women only when the expected benefit significantly outweighs the potential risks to the fetus.

The risk to the infant from breastfeeding while the mother is being treated with this preparation cannot be ruled out.

There is no data on the use of the preparation Seretide ™ Evohaler ™ in children under 4 years of age.

Seretide ™ Evohaler ™ does not affect or has a slight effect on the ability to drive vehicles or operate machinery.

According to clinical studies, there is no information on cases of overdose.

Infections and invasions: candidiasis of the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, pneumonia, bronchitis.
