Product description

Sermion (Nicergolinum, Nicergoline) - preparation improving cerebral and peripheral circulation, with an alpha-adrenoceptor blocking and metabolism activating action.

Decreases vascular resistance, increases arterial blood flow and oxygen consumption and glucose brain tissue. It lowers pulmonary vascular resistance. It reduces platelet aggregation and improves hemorheological indexes.

It increases blood flow in the vessels of the upper and lower extremities, especially in case of violation of blood flow, caused functional arteriopathy. Clinical trials have shown high efficiency of Sermion at blood flow in the vessels of the upper and lower extremities and cerebrovascular disorders failure.

Reception Sermion at therapeutic doses, usually has no effect on blood pressure. In patients with hypertension preparation may cause a gradual reduction in blood pressure.

Nicergoline - ergoline derivative improves hemodynamic and metabolic processes in the brain, decreases platelet aggregation and improve hemorheological parameters of blood, increases blood flow in the upper and lower extremities. Nicergoline exhibits α1-adrenoceptor blocking action, leading to an improvement in blood flow, and has a direct effect on cerebral neurotransmitter systems - adrenergic, dopaminergic and cholinergic. Testimony:

• Acute or chronic vascular or metabolic cerebral insufficiency: atherosclerosis; thrombosis or embolism of cerebral vessels; transient cerebral ischemic attacks.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding:

In pregnancy, the preparation is prescribed only under strict indications. In experimental studies have not revealed teratogenic effects of nicergoline.

Suggested Use:

Inside the preparation prescribed to 5.10 mg three times / day with the same intervals between doses for a long period of time. To improve absorption of the preparation should be taken between meals.
