"Sitoprostat®" is an additional source of phytosterols, zinc and selenium for men at risk with a history of prostate diseases (prostatitis, adenoma).

Active substances

The main component of phytosterols - beta-sitosterol (up to 80%) - helps to improve the functional state of the prostate gland in chronic prostatitis and prostate adenoma, as well as age-related changes in the prostate gland, normalizes lipid metabolism, reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Beta-sitosterol is a biologically active component of vegetable oils, is involved in the metabolism of arachidonic acid and provides a complete synthesis of prostaglandins, prevents the connection of dihydrotestosterone and androgen receptors in the prostate. Beta-sitosterol has anti-sclerotic, antiproliferative and antibacterial properties. The inclusion of phytosterols in the diet effectively reduces the level of total cholesterol and ß-lipoproteins in the blood, and thus, in a natural and safe way, reduces the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. Natural phytosterols, which are present in large quantities in fat-soluble fractions of plants, are easily destroyed during the processing of food raw materials, so they must be taken in an isolated form.

Zinc plays an important role in the development of the reproductive organs and the function of the prostate gland. Zinc inhibits an enzyme that controls the restoration of testosterone to DHT and maintains sufficient sex hormone levels.
