PRECISION BALANCE 8/4 is Alcon's proven toric lens design. The lens has a marking at the 6 o'clock position and at the same time the lens is thinner at this point. This minimizes the interaction of the lens with the lower eyelid. The lens also has stabilization points at the 8 and 4 o'clock positions to keep the lens in the correct position. This guarantees the user excellent visual acuity.

The silicone hydrogel core of the lens contains 55% water and provides excellent corneal oxygenation. The core is followed by a hydrogel layer, which perfectly moisturizes the eye, because the water content on the surface of the lens is close to 100%. The combination of materials is absolutely perfect from the user's point of view, and Alcon's name is Water Gradient Technology.

Celligent technology was also used for the production of lenses, which is inspired by the biology of the eye. This technology uses biomimetic properties in the surface of the lens. In practice, this means that the surface of the lens acts as a barrier to microbes and pollutants. At the same time, however, the lens is able to absorb water from the environment, thanks to which the lens remains pleasantly soft and moisturized at all times.

In addition, the lens, TOTAL30 for Astigmatism has a class 1 UV filter. However, the lens only partially protects the eye, so you should always supplement the protection of the eyes and the eye area with appropriate sunglasses.

TOTAL30 lenses are designed for everyday wear - this means that it is not possible to sleep in the lenses. Lenses should always be removed from the eyes in the evening, mechanically cleaned and stored for regeneration. In the morning the lenses will be ready to wear again.

The replacement period for new lenses is set at 30 days.
