Unimer Baby NaCl 0.9% saline is a sterile sodium chloride solution suitable for eye and nose care and hygiene. It can also be used in the case of dry nose and runny nose - it cleans and moisturizes the mucosa, eliminating the feeling of discomfort. It is also perfect for washing and cleansing wounds. It is intended for babies, children and adults. What's more, for the sake of safety and convenience of use, the salt is packed in disposable and easy-to-use ampoules.

Unimer Baby NaCl 0.9% is a medical device. It is characterized by the same concentration as body fluids in the body (0.9%). It does not cause irritation and is safe for health. It does not contain preservatives. Not suitable for injection.

Application

For infants, children and adults:

• in order to maintain nasal hygiene and to moisturize the nasal mucosa in case of rhinitis or dryness: for instillation, washing or inhalation,
• in order to maintain eye hygiene: for instillation, washing or rinsing,
• to cleanse the wound.

Usage method

For nasal and eye hygiene and wound cleansing: can be used 1-6 times a day.

Nasal hygiene

Tear off the tip of the ampoule and tilt your head back.

Carefully insert the tip of the ampoule into the nostril and lightly press the ampoule.

Repeat the procedure in the other nostril.

Then straighten your head and gently wipe the liquefied mucus with a clean tissue.

Don't blow your nose too hard for another 10 minutes.

Eye hygiene

Tear off the tip of the ampoule and drip a few drops of the solution into each eye, taking care that the tip of the ampoule does not touch the surface of the eye.

Wipe off excess fluid with a sterile gauze pad.

Wound cleansing

Rinse the wound with the entire contents of the ampoule.

Try not to touch the wound while doing so.

Sterile Unimer Baby NaCl 0.9% saline is not intended for injection (injection).

The single-dose ampoule is intended for single and individual use.

Do not use the same single-dose pack for different uses.

Do not use the disposable vial if it is open or damaged due to the danger of rapid bacterial contamination.

Do not use after the expiry date stated on the package.

Store below 30 ° C.

Warnings

During nasal hygiene in infants, in order to prevent contamination of the middle ear, salt should be dripped with minimal pressure on the ampoule.

If you use other eye drops at the same time, wait 15 minutes before using Unimer Baby.

When cleansing the wound, rub the excess salt only on the area of ​​intact skin.
