Urinon-D - double action against urinary tract infections. Eliminates the symptoms of cystitis and discomfort after taking the first capsule. Urinon-D contains standardized Pakran powder, which is obtained from whole cranberries (large cranberries) and D-mannose. Pakran and D-mannose prevents the growth of pathogenic bacteria in the urethra and urinary bladder and their adhesion to the epithelium of the urinary tract, inhibits COX, participates in the process of apoptosis, reduces the expression of metal proteides in the matrix, prevents the development of recurrent inflammatory diseases and reduces the frequency of recurrent urinary tract infections, improves kidney function and increases urine output. Pakran and D-mannose contributes to the restoration of normal microflora, has an antispasmodic and antiseptic effect, results are achieved from the first day of administration, can be used for long-term use.

Active ingredients

Pakran is clinically proven to contain thoroughly researched, scientifically proven ingredients that are beneficial to the urinary tract. Pakran® has a full spectrum of cranberry nutrients with standardized levels of bioactive proanthocyanidins (PAC), as well as other important cranberry components such as vitamins C, B and PP, phenols, organic acids, fibers, fatty acids, proteins, triterpenoids, and the following trace elements: sodium, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, iron, manganese, cobalt, copper. This full spectrum of cranberry nutrients makes Pakran® unique and more potent than other cranberry extracts.

PAC (proanthocyanidins) reduce the ability of bacteria to adhere to uro-epithelial cells. Cranberry has antioxidant activity, prevents the reproduction of pathogenic microflora in the urethra and bladder, as well as its adhesion to the epithelial tissue of the urinary tract. Cranberry suppresses COX, has anti-inflammatory effects, improves kidney function and increases urine output.

D-Mannose is a pure, natural stereoisomer of glucose, but does not behave like sugar in the body. A small amount of D-mannose is metabolized by the human body, in about 90% of the D-mannose consumed by mouth is excreted in the urine unchanged within 30-60 minutes after ingestion. D-mannose helps prevent urinary tract infections because it inhibits the adhesion of pathogenic bacteria to the walls of the urinary tract and bladder. There is an interaction between D-mannose and bacteria, which is recorded in more than 90% of all cases of bladder infections, E. coli.

Mode of application

Adults take 2 capsules a day, morning and evening, some time after eating and emptying the bladder. It is recommended to consult a doctor before use.

During menopause, the pH of the vagina rises, contributing to an increase in the incidence of urinary tract infections. Diabetes, corticosteroid use, and the use of mechanical contraception increase the risk of recurrence of urinary tract infections. In the presence of one or more of these factors, taking Urinon-D for 2 weeks a month for 3 months can help protect the urinary tract, creating an unfavorable environment for the reproduction of microorganisms.

It has been confirmed that seasonal changes in weather, humid hot weather, stress, travel, poor hygiene conditions can cause urinary tract infections. Under such conditions, women are advised to take Urinon-D during the entire action of adverse factors. While taking Urinon-D, it is recommended to consume a lot of water (1-1.5 liters) throughout the day to stimulate urination and quickly remove bacteria, which helps to achieve maximum efficiency.
