Vitaprost is a remedy used for benign prostatic hypertrophy.

Indications for use

• chronic prostatitis;
• prostate adenoma;
• age-related disorders of its functions and related disorders of the act of urination;
• complications after surgery on the prostate gland;
• interoreceptive copulatory dysfunction of male infertility.

Composition

active substance: 1 bottle contains a bovine prostate extract, lyophilized from an aqueous solution, obtained by extraction, in terms of polypeptides not less than 2.0 mg;

excipients: glycine.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation and cattle proteins.

Mode of application

Use to treat adults, including older men. Intramuscularly administered. Before use, dissolve the contents of the bottle in 1-2 ml of water for injection or 0.9% sodium chloride solution, or 0.5% novocaine solution. When using novocaine as a solvent, it is necessary to take into account the safety information of novocaine. The preparation  should be administered daily, 1-2 vials 1 time per day. The course of treatment is 5-10 days. If necessary, repeat the course (after 1-6 months).

Application features

When treating with the preparation, it is recommended to analyze the clinical indicators of the activity of the prostate gland.
