Product description

The product contains two active ingredients: sodium chloride of pharmaceutical quality and xylitol. It gently and thoroughly cleanses the nasal cavity and sinuses of thick secretions formed in the course of inflammatory diseases of the sinuses, as well as in the case of allergies, and washes away allergens, bacteria, viruses, dust and pollution, including those from smog, from these areas.

Thanks to the xylitol content, ZatoClear Med. Irrigation, thoroughly cleans the nasal cavity and sinuses, using a solution prepared from one sachet. It moisturizes the nasal mucosa, soothes its irritations and restores normal functioning, e.g. through the use of pharmacological nasal preparations.

Irrigation with the medical device ZatoClear Med. Irrigation helps restore easy breathing and relieves the feeling of pressure around the head and sinuses. Washing the nasal cavity with a large volume of fluid helps to effectively wash out the infectious agents from this area, thus preventing the spread of infection to the sinuses, ears and lower respiratory tract.

Application

In the case of acute and chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, allergic or infectious rhinitis, before and after surgical procedures of the nose and sinuses, during periods of increased exposure to dust suspended in the air (smog) or in the workplace, and to maintain proper nasal hygiene and paranasal sinuses.

Usage method

Irrigation should be done using the special bottle included in the ZatoClear Med Irrigation starter kit. Rinse all parts of the bottle with warm water before first use. Wash and dry your hands. Pour the contents of one ZatoClear Med sachet into the bottle. Irrigation and top up with boiled water (body temperature) up to the marked line. Close the bottle tightly, cover the hole in the cap with your finger and shake the bottle several times until the substance is completely dissolved. Stand over the sink in a slightly tilted position. Place the tip of the bottle against one of the nostrils. Squeeze the bottle in a smooth motion so that the solution flows into the nasal cavity. Breathe gently through your mouth throughout the irrigation. The solution will run out through the other nostril. Repeat for the remainder of the solution, placing the bottle against the other nostril. Blow your nose gently when irrigation is complete. Discard the remaining, unused solution. Rinse and dry all bottle components before storing. Rinsing should be carried out 1-2 times a day or as directed by a doctor. One sachet of ZatoClear Med. Irrigation in combination with approx. 240 ml of water creates a ready solution for rinsing the nose and sinuses.

Important tips

In the case of ear infections and after ear surgery, consult a doctor before using the preparation.

Children may use the product under the supervision of an adult.

In the case of use in a child under 4 years of age, consult a doctor before use.

ZatoClear MED IRRIGATION can be safely used for a long time, but if symptoms do not improve or worsen despite the use of the product for more than 7 days, a doctor should be consulted.

Do not rinse with unboiled tap water and with hot or cold water.

It is recommended to prepare a fresh solution each time just before irrigation.

Do not use for injection.

Do not swallow the solution.

The irrigation bottle should not be used by more than one person as this may contribute to the spread of infection.

For hygiene reasons, it is recommended to replace the bottle after 2-3 months of use.

Irrigation can be done at least one hour before bedtime or before going outside (at temperatures below 19 ° C).

Warnings

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the product. The product should not be used by people with a complete nasal blockage, an incorrectly positioned nasal septum or a blocked internal auditory canal.
