ZEST Vitamin C Retard are three-layer tablets with separate modified release of vitamin C: the “quick layer” containing 250 mg (mg) of vitamin C, dissolves quickly within 5 minutes, the “middle layer” contains 250 mg ( mg) of vitamin C and is released within 45 minutes, the "extended layer" is released within 8 years and contains 500 mg (mg) of vitamin C.

Since vitamin C is not synthesized in the human body on its own, it is very important to ensure its constant supply from the outside. Another feature of vitamin C is that it is absorbed very quickly and at the same time is rapidly excreted from the human body through the kidneys.

The production of three-layer tablets ZEST Vitamin C Retard / ZEST® Vitamin C Retard uses the technology of gradual modified release MULTI-LAYER *, which provides the body's need for vitamin C throughout the day.

The action of ZEST Vitamin C Retard / ZEST® Vitamin C Retard is due to the presence of vitamin C.

Active ingredients

Vitamin C:

normal functioning of the immune system during and after intense physical exertion, with viral and bacterial infections, during the period of recovery (convalescence) after viral and bacterial infections;
normal functioning of the cardiovascular and nervous systems;
protecting cells from oxidative stress;
reduction of fatigue and better absorption of iron;
normal collagen formation to maintain the functions of the skin, blood vessels, gums, cartilage and teeth.

Vitamin C is a strong antioxidant that normalizes redox processes in the human body by preventing the destructive action of free radicals that lead to aging, the risk of occurrence and complications from the cardiovascular system and neurological disorders.
