Product description

Zydena tablets are indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, characterized by an inability to achieve or maintain an erection of the penis necessary for successful intercourse.

For Zydena to work effectively, she needs sexual arousal.

Compound

Active substance: udenafil;

1 coated tablet contains udenafil 100 mg or 200 mg;

Excipients: lactose, corn starch, hydroxypropyl cellulose, colloidal silicon dioxide, talc, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), sunset yellow FCF (E 110).

Contraindications

• hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation Zydena ;
• regular or periodic use of nitrates and other nitric oxide donors; uncontrolled arterial hypertension (BP> 170/100 mm Hg);
• arterial hypotension (blood pressure <90/50 mm Hg);
• uncontrolled arrhythmia;
• hereditary degenerative diseases of the retina (including retinitis pigmentosa);
• severe hepatic or renal impairment;
• the presence of a congenital syndrome of lengthening the QT interval or an increase in the QT interval due to preparation intake;
• unstable angina or severe heart failure;
• stroke, myocardial infarction, or coronary artery bypass grafting in the past 6 months
• the use of strong inhibitors of cytochrome P450 (HIV protease inhibitor indinavir or ritonavir, simultaneous administration of Zydena with other preparations for the treatment of erectile dysfunction;
• loss of vision in one eye due to non-arterial and ischemic neuropathy;
• Zydena contains lactose, so the preparation should not be taken by patients with hereditary diseases such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or impaired absorption of glucose-galactose.

Mode of application

Applied to adult men inside, regardless of food intake. One 100 mg tablet is administered orally per day approximately 30 minutes to 12 hours prior to anticipated sexual activity. The dose can be increased with caution to 200 mg, after a careful assessment of all adverse events that occurred after taking 100 mg of the preparation. The maximum recommended number of applications is 1 time per day.

For elderly men (over 65 years), dose adjustment is not required.

No dose adjustment is required for men with mild renal failure.

No dose adjustment is required in patients with mild hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh class A).

Overdose

During studies of the use of a single dose of the preparation in healthy volunteers when using 400 mg of udenafil once a day, no serious adverse reactions were observed. With increasing doses, the incidence of adverse events (headache, facial flushing) increased, but most of them were mild and resolved without additional treatment. In case of overdose, general symptomatic therapy should be prescribed. Zydena`s preparation has a high rate of binding to plasma proteins and is not excreted in the urine, therefore, after dialysis, renal clearance does not increase.

Side effects

The most common adverse reactions include headache and facial flushing.

Interaction

The use of strong inhibitors of cytochrome P450 is contraindicated (HIV protease inhibitor indinavir or ritonavir, simultaneous administration of Zydena with other preparations  for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C, to protect from moisture and light, store in its original packaging.
