indications:

The indication for the use of Aescin is the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins of the lower extremities, haemorrhoids, treatment of phlebitis of the lower extremities, prevention and treatment of postoperative and traumatic hematomas and edema.

Features:

Aescin has anti-swelling and anti-inflammatory properties, and improves the tone of blood vessels. It reduces the permeability of the blood vessel walls. It is effective in the treatment of postoperative and traumatic edema.

Aescin causes faster absorption of traumatic hematomas and reduces the probability of their occurrence in the postoperative period (especially after surgical procedures of the musculoskeletal system). Moreover, by sealing the endothelium of blood vessels, it improves venous-lymphatic circulation. The preparation is also used in the prevention of thrombophlebitis in the postoperative period, as well as in the treatment of disorders of the venous circulation of the limbs and varicose veins of the lower extremities.

Dosage:

The usual dose of Aescin is 2 tablets 3 times a day, after a meal with a large drink
amount of fluid.

Prophylactically, it can be used at least 16 hours before surgery.
After 2-3 months of treatment, maintenance treatment can be used at a dose of 40 mg (2 tablets) twice a day.

Ingredients:

The active substance is alpha-escin.
The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, potato starch, povidone, talc, magnesium
stearate.

Coating: talc, titanium dioxide (E 171), povidone, polysorbate 80, acid copolymer
methacrylic and ethyl acrylate, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, sunset yellow (E 110),
silicone antifoam emulsion.
