Armadin tablets are indicated for the treatment of:

• consequences of acute cerebrovascular accident;
• neurotic and neurosis-like conditions with symptoms of anxiety;
• neurocirculatory dystonia;
• encephalopathy of various origins;
• light craniocerebral trauma, the consequences of craniocerebral trauma;
• memory impairment and intellectual disability in the elderly;
• asthenic conditions, the influence of extreme (stress) factors;
• coronary heart disease (as part of complex therapy);
• withdrawal syndrome in alcoholism with a predominance of neurosis-like and vegetative-vascular disorders;
• conditions after intoxication with antipsychotic preparations.

Composition

Active ingredient: armadin (2-ethyl-6-methyl-3-hydroxypyridine succinate);

1 tablet contains armadine (2-ethyl-6-methyl-3-hydroxypyridine succinate) - 125 mg;

Excipients: lactose monohydrate, potato starch; povidone, crospovidone; silicon dioxide colloidal magnesium stearate succinic acid; hydroxypropyl cellulose; talc titanium dioxide (E 171) hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.

Contraindications

Acute hepatic or renal failure, hypersensitivity to the preparation.

Mode of application

ARMADIN® is prescribed internally. The therapeutic dose and duration of treatment is determined by the doctor depending on the sensitivity of patients to the preparation.

To relieve alcohol withdrawal syndrome, the preparation should be used for 5-7 days.

The duration of the course of therapy in patients with ischemic heart disease is at least 1.5-2 months. It is recommended to carry out two 2-month courses of therapy during the year, in the spring-autumn period.

End the course therapy with the preparation ARMADIN® gradually, reducing the dose within 2-3 days.

During the period of treatment, care must be taken when driving or operating machinery, given the likelihood of side effects that can affect the reaction rate and the ability to concentrate.

Overdose

Overdose may cause drowsiness. Treatment is detoxification therapy.

Side effects

From the side of the cardiovascular system: increased blood pressure, decreased blood pressure.

From the nervous system: drowsiness, impaired sleep, anxiety, emotional reactivity, headache, impaired coordination.

From the gastrointestinal tract: nausea, dryness of the oral mucosa.

From the immune system: allergic reactions, including hyperemia, skin rash, itching.

Others: distal hyperhidrosis.

Interaction

ARMADIN® enhances the effect of benzodiazepine anxiolytics, antiparkinsonian preparations and carbamazepine. Reduces the toxic effect of ethyl alcohol.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 ° C in its original packaging.
