Product description

Beloderm spray for external use is indicated for the treatment of dermatoses sensitive to potent therapy.

Storage

Active substance: betamethasone dipropionate;

1 g of solution contains 0.640 mg of betamethasone in the form of dipropionate, corresponding to 0.500 mg of betamethasone;

Excipients: isopropyl alcohol, carbomer 934, sodium hydroxide, purified water.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to betamethasone or other corticosteroids or other components of the preparation.

Viral infections, including post-vaccination reactions and chicken pox; viral skin infections (for example, herpes simplex, shingles, chicken pox); pink eels; rosacea-like (perioral) dermatitis bacterial dermatoses, including tuberculosis and syphilis of the skin; fungal diseases, ophthalmic diseases (Beloderm, not intended for ophthalmic use) do not use under occlusive dressings (plaster)

Special care should be taken when applying to the skin of the face.

Do not allow the preparation to get into the eyes or mucous membranes.

Do not use in the first trimester of pregnancy.

Long-term treatment and/or application on a large surface of the skin should be avoided, as absorption of the active substance is possible.

Application method

Beloderm, a skin spray, should be applied 2 times a day from a distance of about 5 cm, by one or two pressures, spraying on the affected area of the skin or scalp, and thoroughly rubbed. The volume of the solution released at one click is 0.1 ml.

The preparation should not be used in the first trimester of pregnancy, because the safety of the use of local corticosteroids for pregnant women has not been established

It is not recommended for use by children under 12 years of age.

Overdose

Excessive or long-term use of topical corticosteroids can cause suppression of pituitary-adrenal function, leading to secondary adrenal insufficiency and symptoms of hypercorticism, including Cushing's syndrome. Acute symptoms of hypercorticism are usually reversible.

In case of overdose, appropriate symptomatic treatment is indicated. If necessary, the electrolyte balance should be corrected. In case of chronic toxic effect, gradual withdrawal of corticosteroids is recommended.

Side effects

Burning, itching, irritation, dry skin, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acne-like rashes, hypopigmentation, acne on the background of steroid use, rosacea-like (perioral) dermatitis.

Interaction

Due to the presence of white soft paraffin and mineral oil as auxiliary substances, treatment in the anogenital area can damage the structure of latex condoms and reduce their safety when used during treatment.
