Dioflan gel, when applied to the skin, has an anti-edematous, anti-exudative, anti-inflammatory and anticoagulant effect. heparin is determined in blood plasma within 24 hours after administration of the preparation, while the peak concentration of heparin is reached after 8 hours. Excretion is carried out mainly by the kidneys. the preparation applied to the skin does not affect the parameters of blood coagulation.

Treatment of diseases of superficial veins, such as varicose veins, and related complications, phlebothrombosis, thrombophlebitis, superficial periphlebitis. postoperative varicose phlebitis, complications after surgical removal of the saphenous veins of the lower extremities. injuries and bruises, infiltrates and localized edema, subcutaneous hematomas. injuries and sprains of muscle-tendon and capsule-ligamentous structures.

For adults, use the preparation 1-3 times a day. Apply 3-10 cm of gel to the affected area of ​​the skin and rub gently. the duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually, taking into account the severity of the course of the disease.

Hypersensitivity to heparin or any other components of the preparation, including parabens (nipagin, nipazole); bleeding trophic ulcers of the legs; open and / or infected wounds; hemorrhagic diathesis; purpura; thrombocytopenia; hemophilia. bleeding tendency.

In some cases, hypersensitivity reactions may be noted, such as hyperemia, itching and swelling of the skin, burning sensation, skin rash, urticaria, angioedema, hemorrhages, sometimes - the appearance of small pustules, vesicles or blisters, which quickly disappear after stopping the use of the preparation. when applied to large areas of the skin, systemic adverse reactions are possible.

The gel is applied only to intact skin. the preparation is not applied to open wounds, infected skin areas in the presence of purulent processes, mucous membranes, eyes and areas around the eyes, ulcers and blisters. if the patient has hemorrhagic symptoms, the possibility of using the preparation Dioflan should be carefully weighed. the preparation should not be prescribed for bleeding. in case of blood clotting disorders, the gel is not recommended to be applied to large areas of the skin. When treating phlebitis, this preparation should not be rubbed into the skin.

Application during pregnancy or lactation. There are no data on the use of the preparation during pregnancy and lactation.

Children. Due to the limited experience of use, the preparation should not be prescribed to children.

The ability to influence the reaction rate when driving or working with other mechanisms. The preparation does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or operate machinery.

The use of heparin can help prolong the prothrombin time in patients taking oral anticoagulants. do not use the preparation together with preparations for topical use, for example, with preparations containing tetracycline, hydrocortisone, salicylic acid, with anticoagulants

The phenomena of preparation overdose have not yet been described. due to insignificant systemic absorption, there is no danger of an overdose of the preparation when applied topically. accidental oral administration of the gel may cause nausea or vomiting in a child. in this case, the stomach should be flushed, and if necessary, symptomatic therapy should be prescribed. the action of heparin can be neutralized with protamine sulfate.
