Product description
"Emfetal" is a vitamin and mineral complex for women during pregnancy and lactation.
Active substances
- Vitamin A (in the form of retinol acetate) is necessary for the biosynthesis of rhodopsin, maintaining the integrity of epithelial cells, and promoting the growth of the body (fetus during pregnancy). Regulates metabolic processes in the skin, mucous membrane of the eyes, respiratory, digestive and urinary tract; increases the body's resistance to infections. Influences the function of biological membranes and endocrine glands, tissue respiration.
- Vitamin B1 (in the form of thiamine hydrochloride) as a coenzyme is involved in carbohydrate metabolism and in the work of the nervous system.
- Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) is an important catalyst for cellular respiration and visual perception. During pregnancy, it limits the effect of teratogenic factors.
- Vitamin B5 (in the form of calcium D-pantothenate) is involved in carbohydrate and fat metabolism, acetylation reactions, and catalyzes protein synthesis. Regulates the functions of the nervous system, thyroid gland, adrenal glands. Promotes the development, regeneration of the epithelium and endothelium.
- Vitamin B6 (in the form of pyridoxine hydrochloride) as a coenzyme is involved in protein metabolism and the synthesis of neurotransmitters. During pregnancy, it is especially necessary for women who have previously taken oral contraceptives, which could lead to depletion of the pyridoxine depot in the body.
- Vitamin B9 (folic acid) regulates the metabolism of proteins, nucleic acids, fats in the liver. The effect on the processes of hematopoiesis is closely related to cobalamins (vitamin B12) and choline. During pregnancy, it performs, to a certain extent, a protective function against the action of teratogenic factors.
- Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) is involved in the synthesis of nucleotides, is an important factor in the normal growth, hematopoiesis and development of epithelial cells; essential for the metabolism of folic acid and myelin synthesis.
- Vitamin C (in the form of sodium ascorbate) has strong regenerative and antioxidant properties. Takes part in redox processes, regulation of carbohydrate metabolism, directly involved in thyroxine metabolism, biosynthesis of steroid hormones and insulin. Vitamin C is essential for the normal functioning of the blood coagulation system, collagen biosynthesis, and the regeneration of connective and bone tissue. Reduces capillary permeability. Promotes the absorption of iron in the intestine and takes part in the formation of hemoglobin. Increases the body's nonspecific resistance and has antioxidant properties, helps to increase the body's resistance to infectious diseases. Vitamin C in combination with vitamin E are antioxidants that protect the lipid structures of cell membranes from peroxidation.
- Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) regulates the exchange of calcium and phosphorus in the body, as well as the formation of bone structure; prevents the development of rickets in newborns. Participates in the formation of the skeleton, contributes to the preservation of bone structure, increases the absorption of calcium and phosphoric acid salts in the intestine, as a result of which the level of parathyroid hormone increases, and also regulates the process of their excretion, activates calcium deposits in bones and counteracts resorption, increases bone density.
- Vitamin E (in the form of DL-α-tocopherol acetate) has antioxidant properties, protects intracellular lipids from peroxidation, maintains the stability of erythrocytes, prevents hemolysis, has a positive effect on the function of the sex and other endocrine glands, muscle function, vitamins A, D, participates in metabolism of proteins and carbohydrates.
- Vitamin PP (nicotinamide) is involved in the processes of tissue respiration, fat and carbohydrate metabolism.
- Vitamin H (biotin) has a regulatory effect on the nervous system, including neurotrophic function. There is evidence of the participation of biotin in fat metabolism.
- Calcium (in the form of calcium carbonate) is necessary for the formation of bone tissue, blood clotting, the process of transmitting nerve impulses, contraction of skeletal and smooth muscles, and normal myocardial activity.
- Magnesium (in the form of magnesium oxide) takes part in the formation of bones, the transmission of nervous excitement and the normalization of the excitability of the nervous system. It has antispastic and vasodilating properties, stimulates intestinal motility and bile secretion, promotes the elimination of cholesterol from the intestine, activates the work of carbohydrate metabolism enzymes, and more.
- Iron (in the form of iron fumarate) is involved in erythropoiesis, as part of hemoglobin, it provides oxygen transport to the tissue. Iron is a part of enzymes (peroxidase, cytochrome, cytochrome oxidase, and so on) that provide the processes of cellular respiration; is a part of protoplasm and cell nuclei.
- Zinc (in the form of zinc oxide) is an integral part of over 80 enzymes in the human body. It is necessary for the formation of red blood cells and other blood cells. Participates in the photochemical reactions of the process of vision and the activity of the endocrine glands.
- Manganese (in the form of manganese sulfate) - the main biological effect is associated with the processes of ossification and the state of bone tissue by activating bone phosphatase. The stimulating effect of manganese on the processes of hematopoiesis in combination with iron, copper, cobalt has been proven; participates in the metabolism of fats (lipotropic action), vitamins (B1, C), its connection with the processes of sexual development and reproduction has been proven.
- Copper (in the form of copper sulfate) is the second after iron hematopoietic biomicroelement that actively participates in the synthesis of hemoglobin and the formation of other iron porphyrins, the processes of converting iron supplied with food into an organically bound form, stimulates the maturation of reticulocytes and their transformation into erythrocytes, promotes the transfer of iron to bone marrow, activates erythropoiesis. The connection between copper and the function of the pancreas and thyroid glands has been proven.
- Iodine (in the form of potassium iodide) contributes to the normal functioning of the thyroid gland, is part of its hormones (thyroxine, triiodothyronine). Prevents the development of endemic goiter, cretinism. When iodides enter the epithelial cells of the thyroid follicle under the influence of the enzyme iodide peroxidase, iodine is oxidized to form elemental iodine, which is incorporated into the tyrosine molecule. In this case, one part of the tyrosine radicals in thyroglobulin is iodized. Iodinated tyrosine radicals condense into thyrotrons, the main of which are thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). The resulting complex of thyronine and thyroglobulin is released as a deposited form of thyroid hormone into the colloid of the follicle and remains in this state for several days or weeks. With iodine deficiency, this process is disrupted. Potassium iodide compensates for its deficiency, helps to restore impaired synthesis of thyroid hormones. An important property of potassium iodide is its ability to prevent the accumulation of radioactive iodine in the thyroid gland and to protect it from radiation.
- Molybdenum (in the form of sodium molybdate) enhances the activity of antioxidants, in particular vitamin C; is an important factor in tissue respiration and nitrogen metabolism in the body.
- Selenium (in the form of sodium selenite) is essential for the functioning of enzymes that iodize thyroid hormones (thyroid gland) and the body's antioxidant system (in combination with vitamin E).
- Chromium (in the form of chromium chloride) together with copper, zinc and selenium as catalysts prevents the formation of free radicals.
