Active ingredients

Silymarin, which is part of "Gepasiril", is a mixture of extractives isolated from the fruits of milk thistle, namely: silibinin, silidanin, silicristin. The action of silymarin is due to the stimulation of cellular metabolism, activates the synthesis of proteins and phospholipids in hepatocytes, prevents the destruction of cell membranes, which prevents the loss of cell components, prevents the penetration of toxins into liver cells.

Methionine in Gepasiril replenishes amino acid deficiencies, regulates nitrogen balance, contains a mobile methyl group and participates in methylation processes that provide the synthesis of choline, adrenaline, creatine and other biologically important compounds, neutralizes toxic products and forms phospholipids. Methionine inhibits the deposition of neutral fat in the liver, makes a lipotropic effect (removal of excess fat from the liver), modulates the effect of hormones and vitamins (B12, ascorbic and folic acids).

L-arginine (an aliphatic amino acid that is classified as conditionally essential) is a NO donor and serves as its carrier. The substance improves the supply of enzymatic systems with nitric oxide, participates in transamination reactions, enhances the cleansing of the body from the products of protein metabolism that have accumulated. As a result, the following effects are observed: improvement of muscle trophism, acceleration of recovery processes, improvement of erectile function, decrease in blood pressure, improvement of the penetration of other amino acids into muscle tissue. L-arginine prevents the development of oxidative stress, protects cells from aging, reduces the formation of pathological cholesterol, increases collateral blood flow, helps to reduce the frequency of angina attacks, increases the production of growth hormone, and increases endurance.

L-glutathione is actively involved in the synthesis of leukotrienes, while performing the function of a cofactor, a specific enzyme of glutathione peroxidase. The substance by its structure is a hydrophilic molecule, which in the liver tissues tends to attach to hydrophobic toxins during their biological transformation, and is excreted from the body along with bile. L-glutathione is involved in the detoxification of methylglyoxanal, converting it into lactoylglutathione, and the toxic compound, by hydrolysis, decomposes into lactic acid. This chemical compound protects immune cells (lymphocytes) from toxins, supports immunity at the cellular level.

Indications for use

Acute and chronic hepatitis;

Mode of application

1-2 capsules once a day. Duration of use is from 10 days to 3 months. Take before meals without chewing with a little water.
