Product description

Microlax® is a laxative in micro enema format that gently removes constipation after 5-20 minutes.

Microlax® - helps to fight stool retention, and is also suitable for preparing for diagnostic and therapeutic actions in the rectal area.

Microlax® is a laxative suitable for the whole family - adults, pregnant women, nursing mothers, babies from birth and the elderly.

Microlax® is a mild laxative for regular use. With prolonged use, Microlax® is not addictive.

The Microlax® line includes: solution for rectal administration (in microclysters format) packages No. 4 and No. 12

Possibility to calculate the time of action: micro enema Mikrolax® helps to eliminate constipation in 5-20 minutes. The laxative drug promotes gentle relief from constipation, preventing intoxication of the body, which can occur due to the accumulation of metabolic products that are absorbed from the intestines.

Universal laxative for the whole family: a mild laxative suitable for pregnant women, lactating women, children from birth and the elderly.

The microclysters format allows adults to use the drug on their own, and the spout with the ability to adjust the insertion depth allows Microlax® to be used even for newborns.

Regularity and duration of use: Microlax® is a mild laxative for regular use. With prolonged use, Microlax® is not addictive.

It can be used in combination with other drugs: Microlax® laxative is the optimal start for constipation therapy, which acts locally and is not absorbed through the intestinal walls, so it can be used for long-term therapy of constipation.

Structure

The preparation contains:

  • sodium citrate - displaces bound water contained in feces;
  • sodium lauryl sulfoacetate - thins the contents of the intestines;
  • sorbitol - enhances the laxative effect by stimulating the flow of water into the intestines. An increase in the amount of water due to peptization and liquefaction promotes softening of feces and facilitates bowel movement.

Indications for use

Constipation (short-term use), as well as diseases requiring easier bowel movements.

For bowel emptying during diagnostic and therapeutic measures in the rectal area.

Mode of application

Microlax® for constipation is easy to use:

Break off the seal on the tip of the tube.

Press lightly on the tube so that the Microlax® drop smears the tip of the micro enema.

Insert the micro enema tip for the full length for adults, and half the length of the tip for children up to 3 years old.

Then squeeze the tube, squeezing out all its contents completely. While continuing to squeeze the tube, carefully remove the tip.

Possible side reactions

Hypersensitivity reactions, abdominal pain, slight burning sensation in the anal area, loose stools.
