Indications

Nizoral medicated shampoo is indicated for the treatment and prevention of the following skin diseases:

caused by the yeasts of the genus Malassezia: scalp dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, acute dandruff caused by Pityriasis versicolor.

Composition

1 g of shampoo contains: active substance: ketoconazole 20 mg and excipients: sodium lauryl sulfonate, disodium salt of monolauryl sulfonosuccinic ether, coconut oil fatty acid diethanolamide, laurdimonium - hydrolyzed animal collagen, macrogol 120, methylglucosodiamide, sodium hydroxide composition, sodium hydroxide composition concentrated hydrochloric acid, sodium erythrosine, purified water.

Action

Nizoral medicated shampoo is an antifungal medicine for topical application to the skin.

Dosage

Nizoral shampoo should be rubbed into the scalp until foam is formed, and then left on the skin surface for about 3-5 minutes. In the case of tinea versicolor, it is recommended to use the preparation once a day for a period of 5 days, while in the treatment of common dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis, it should be used twice a week for a period of 2-4 weeks.

Allergy to any of the ingredients of the preparation.
