Relief of pain and inflammation of varying degrees in a variety of conditions, including:

• joint pathology: rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, acute attacks of gout

• acute musculoskeletal diseases such as periarthritis (for example, periarthritis of the shoulder scapula), tendonitis, tendovaginitis, bursitis,

• other pathological conditions caused by trauma, including fractures, back pain, sprains, dislocations, orthopedic, dental and other minor surgical interventions.

- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to the excipients of the preparation

- a history of bleeding or perforation in the gastrointestinal tract, associated with previous treatment with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations (NSAIDs);

- active peptic ulcer / bleeding or recurrent peptic ulcer / history of bleeding (two or more separate episodes of established ulcer or bleeding)

- like other NSAIDs, diclofenac is also contraindicated in patients in whom the use of ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs provokes attacks of bronchial asthma, 3 angioedema, urticaria or acute rhinitis

- inflammatory bowel disease (eg Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis);

- liver failure

- renal failure

- congestive heart failure (NYHA II-IV)

- ischemic heart disease in patients with angina pectoris, myocardial infarction

- cerebrovascular diseases in patients who have suffered a stroke or have episodes of transient ischemic attacks;

- peripheral arterial disease

- contraindicated for the treatment of perioperative pain with coronary artery bypass grafting (or when using a heart-lung machine)

- III trimester of pregnancy.

active substance: diclofenac; 1 capsule of prolonged action contains diclofenac sodium 100 mg excipients: lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carboxymethylcellulose-microcrystalline cellulose, glycerol trimyristate, titanium dioxide (E 171), ammonium methacrylate copolymer dispersion (type B), triethyl citrate water; capsule shell: gelatin, titanium dioxide (E 171), iron oxide black (E172), iron oxide red (E172), erythrosine (E 127).

The dose should be selected individually. The preparation should be used in the most effective doses for a short period of time, taking into account the purpose of treatment for each patient. Adults Olfen®-100 SR Depocaps should be taken before meals. Swallow the capsules without chewing with a glass of water. The daily dose, as a rule, is 1 capsule of Olfenu®-100 SR Depocaps. In mild cases and with long-term treatment, the appointment of 1 capsule of Olfenu®-100 SR Depokaps per day is usually sufficient. If it is necessary to use a dose of 50 mg or 150 mg of diclofenac sodium for treatment with Olfen®-100 SR Depocaps, combine with the administration of Olfenu®-50 Lactab. In cases where the symptoms of the disease are most pronounced at night or in the morning, it is advisable to take Olfen®-100 SR Depocaps at night.

Do not administer the preparation to children.
