Product description

Pelorsin® tablets are used for acute and chronic infections of the respiratory tract and ENT organs (bronchitis, sinusitis, tonsillar sore throat, rhinopharyngitis).

Warehouse

Active ingredient: dry extract from the roots of stonecrop pelargonium (Pelargonium sidoides).

1 coated tablet contains dry extract from the roots of Pelargonium sidoides (4 - 25: 1), extractant: ethanol 11% (m / m) - 20 mg.

Excipients: maltodextrin; microcrystalline cellulose lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium; silicon dioxide colloidal magnesium stearate

Excipients for film coating: Opadrai red 03F250013 (hypromellose 2910, macrogol 4000, iron oxide yellow (E172), iron oxide red (E172), iron oxide black (E172), talc).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients of the preparation, an increased tendency to bleeding and taking preparations that slow down the blood clotting process. Pelorsin® should not be used for severe liver and kidney diseases.

Mode of application

Adults and children over 12 years old take 1 tablet 3 times a day (morning, afternoon and evening).

Children aged 6 to 12 years: 1 tablet 2 times a day (morning and evening).

It is recommended to take Pelorsin® without chewing, with a small amount of liquid.

In addition, in order to prevent relapse, it is recommended to continue treatment for several more days after the symptoms of the disease disappear. The average duration of the course of treatment is 7-10 days.

If symptoms persist for more than 1 week without improvement while using the preparation, it is recommended to consult a doctor.

Application features

Pregnant

Due to the lack of sufficient experience in the use of the preparation, Pelorsin® is not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation. There is no data on the effect of the preparation Pelorsin® on fertility.

Children

Prescribed to children aged 6 years and over.

Drivers

There are no studies on the effect of the preparation on the ability to drive vehicles or operate machinery.

Overdose

So far, there have been no reports of overdose cases.

Side effects

Gastrointestinal tract: disorders of the digestive tract (including stomach pain, heartburn, nausea, diarrhea), slight bleeding from the gums.

From the respiratory system: mild nosebleeds.

From the skin / from the immune system: hypersensitivity reactions (including rash, urticaria, itching of the skin and mucous membranes). In extremely rare cases, severe hypersensitivity reactions with facial edema, shortness of breath and a decrease in blood pressure are possible.

From the digestive system: increased liver function indicators. A causal relationship between an increase in these indicators and the use of the preparation has not been demonstrated.
