Dietary food for special medical purposes ProctoLact contains a live strain of Lactobacillus rhamnosus PL1 probiotic bacteria. Lactobacillus bacteria are a natural element of the intestinal ecosystem, fulfilling numerous health-promoting functions. The proper number of these microorganisms in the intestine is essential for the proper functioning of the entire body. The Lactobacillus PL1 strain effectively inhibits the growth of pathogenic bacteria, which are a frequent cause of inflammation of the anus and rectum and perianal wounds. Thanks to the colonization of the large intestine and the anus, the preparation restores the correct microflora of the final section of the gastrointestinal tract, supporting the treatment of inflammation of the anus and preventing further infections.

Application

In order to restore the correct microflora of the anus and rectum, which inhibits the growth of pathogenic bacteria that cause inflammation; prophylaxis and support in the treatment of inflammations and ulcers of the rectal mucosa, perianal wounds, fistulas, anal fissures by inhibiting the growth of pathogenic microorganisms and restoring normal rectal microflora; prophylaxis and support in the treatment of inflammations and ulcers of the rectal mucosa associated with recurrent hemorrhoids; prophylactically before medical procedures and after procedures in the area of ​​the rectum and anus; prophylaxis in all conditions that may increase the susceptibility to bacterial infections in the anus.

Recommended intake

Adults and children from 3 years of age: take 1 sachet orally a day. In case of acute inflammation, use 2 sachets a day for the first 7 days.

Usage method

Dissolve the contents of the sachet in a little lukewarm water (100ml), wait a few minutes, mix thoroughly and drink. It is best eaten with a meal (it ensures a higher digestibility of the bacteria contained in the preparation. To restore the proper balance of the microflora of the anus and rectum, the duration of use is not less than 10 days. It can be used without time limits.
