Sikatris Silicone scar patches are an innovative and effective solution in the prevention and care of various types of scars, based on the unique properties of silicone gel.

Application

Prevention and care of various types of scars: after cesarean section, cardiological operations, abdominoplasty, burns.

Usage method

Wash hands thoroughly before use. Gently wash the scar and surrounding skin with soap, rinse with warm water. Dry the scar carefully. Remove the patch from the package. If necessary, cut the patch to the size of the scar, leaving a small excess (at least 0.5 cm on each side of the scar). Carefully remove the protective foil from the plaster. Apply the adhesive side gently, starting from the edge of the scar. Stick it to the entire surface of the scar. It is recommended to remove the patch once a day, clean the scar with neutral soap and dry it. Silicone scar patches should be changed every 3-5 days when they lose the properties adhering to the skin, but the best results can be obtained by changing the patch every 24 hours.

Important tips

Keep away from heat sources.

Do not reuse.

Do not use the same patch for more than 7 days.

Warnings

Do not use in the event of allergy to silicone. Do not use on open wounds that are not fully healed yet, exuding wounds, burns, mucous membranes, and in the case of dermatological diseases that prevent the use of silicone-based products.
