Product description
Сlimen tablets as hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for symptoms of pre- and postmenopausal estrogen deficiency.
Compound
Active ingredients: estradiol valerate, cyproterone acetate;
1 white coated tablet contains 2 mg of estradiol valerate, 1 pink coated tablet contains 2 mg of estradiol valerate and 1 mg of cyproterone acetate;
Excipients: lactose, corn starch, 25, talc, magnesium stearate, sucrose, povidone 90, macrogol 6000, calcium carbonate, montan glycol wax, glycerin 85%, titanium dioxide (E 171), iron oxide yellow (E172), iron oxide red (E 172).
Contraindications
- hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients;
- current or history of breast cancer, or suspected breast cancer;
- established or suspected estrogen-dependent malignant tumor (including endometrial cancer);
- bleeding from the genital organs of unknown etiology;
- untreated endometrial hyperplasia;
- venous thromboembolism now or in the past (including deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism);
- established thrombophilic disease (eg, deficiency of protein C, protein S, or antithrombin);
- arterial thromboembolism at present or recently transferred (including angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, stroke);
- acute liver disease or a history of liver disease, while liver function tests are not normal;
- porphyria;
- During pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- liver tumors at present or in history (benign or malignant);
- severe hypertriglyceridemia;
- otosclerosis with deterioration during previous pregnancies;
- high risk of developing venous or arterial thromboembolism.
Mode of application
You should try to take the tablets at the same time every day.
After the end of the first package, the patient takes a seven-day break in taking the drug, during which menstrual-like bleeding occurs. Tablets from another package of the drug Сlimen should be taken 4 weeks after the start of the drug, that is, on the same day of the week, and continue to adhere to this regimen.

Overdose
Acute toxicity studies have shown that there is no risk of developing acute side effects when doses several times higher than the therapeutic dose are accidentally taken.

From the nervous system: headache.
From the gastrointestinal tract: abdominal pain, nausea.
From the skin and subcutaneous tissue: rashes, itching.
From the reproductive system and mammary glands: changes in the nature of menstrual bleeding; increase or decrease in the intensity of withdrawal bleeding; intermenstrual bleeding, spotting or even breakthrough bleeding (these disorders usually disappear with continued treatment).
Interaction
It is necessary to stop the use of oral contraceptives at the beginning of therapy with Сlimen.
Excessive alcohol consumption during the use of the preparation Сlimen can lead to an increase in the level of estradiol.
