Smecta has strong coating properties on the gastrointestinal mucosa. The preparation increases the strength of the mucus layer covering the mucosa against irritants. As a result of this action and thanks to the ability to bind other substances, SmectaGo protects the gastrointestinal mucosa.

Use

Treatment of acute diarrhea in adults and children over 8 years: adults and children over 15 years: the starting dose is 2 sachets, then 1 sachet after each free stool, up to a maximum of 6 sachets per day; children from 8 to 15 years: the initial dose is 2 sachets, then 1 sachet after each free stool, up to a maximum of 4 sachets per day. SmectaGo can be used for up to 3 days. If diarrhea persists for more than 3 days, seek medical attention. Treatment of chronic diarrhea or abdominal pain in adults: up to 3 sachets per day.
