Pharmacological properties

Vocara is a complex homeopathic remedy. The preparation has a pronounced local and general anti-inflammatory effect.

With angina, scarlet fever, chronic tonsillitis, its action is aimed at eliminating the symptoms of the disease. Prevents chronic inflammation and exacerbations. Reduces hyperemia and edema of the palatine tonsils, accelerates the cleansing of the surface and lacunae of the tonsils from plaque and purulent contents, reduces the risk of purulent-necrotic complications, helps to eliminate the focus of chronic intoxication.

The preparation helps to eliminate the manifestations of intoxication due to infection: increased body temperature, chills, peripheral vasospasm and microcirculation disorders, a feeling of weakness in the body, muscle pain, asthenia.

Immunomodulatory action contributes to the elimination of regional lymphadenopathy and lymphadenitis in diseases of the oropharynx and ENT organs.

Reduces the symptoms accompanying scarlet fever, including immunopathological (lymphadenopathy, capillarotoxicosis, myocarditis).

With pharyngitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, it significantly reduces the manifestations of inflammation, obsessive cough and sore throat, helps to restore the structure and function of the mucous membrane, reduces the symptoms of laryngospasm, and makes breathing easier.

In the treatment of stomatitis, gingivitis, as a result of the use of the preparation, hyperemia and edema of the mucous membrane, pain syndrome, accelerates the healing of aphthous lesions of the mucous membrane.

Indications

Treatment of inflammatory diseases of the oropharynx: tonsillitis (including Vincent - Plut), chronic tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, stomatitis, gingivitis, including symptoms of regional lymphadenopathy and lymphadenitis.

Application

Adults and children over the age of 12: 10 drops of the preparation in pure form or diluted in 1 tablespoon of water;

children aged 5-12 years: 5-7 drops of the preparation, diluted in 1 tablespoon of water;

children from 1 to 4 years old: 1-4 drops of the preparation, diluted in 1 tablespoon of water.

Take the preparation 3 times a day.

At the beginning of treatment or in cases requiring rapid relief of symptoms, it is possible to take the preparation every 30 minutes - 1 hour up to 8 times a day until the condition improves, but for no more than 3 days, after which the preparation should be used 3 times a day.

To achieve the maximum effect, it is recommended to take the preparation between meals (30 minutes before or 1 hour after a meal), holding the solution for some time in the mouth before swallowing.

The course of treatment for acute diseases - until complete recovery. In the treatment of exacerbations of chronic diseases, the recommended course of treatment is 6 weeks.

When treating chronic tonsillitis, it is necessary to carry out an anti-relapse course of treatment for 6 weeks 2 times a year in order to prevent an exacerbation of the disease.

Children. The preparation is prescribed for children over the age of 1 year.

It is not recommended to use the preparation in children under the age of 1 year due to insufficient data. To use the preparationin children aged 1 to 6 years - on the recommendation of a doctor.

Contraindications

Special instructions

Vokara® oral drops should not be used in patients with alcohol dependence, since one dose (5/10 drops) contains 80/160 mg of alcohol.

The alcohol content should also be taken into account when used during pregnancy, lactation, in children and patients with a high risk of liver disease or epileptic seizures.

Vokara® oral drops contain traces of lactose monohydrate (10 mg per maximum daily dose). This amount poses no risk to patients with lactose intolerance. Patients with rare hereditary forms of galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome should not take this preparation.

At the beginning of treatment, existing symptoms of the disease may temporarily worsen (primary reaction). This reaction is usually not harmful. If symptoms persist, the preparation should be discontinued. After the disappearance of the primary reaction, the preparation can be used again. With a repeated exacerbation of symptoms, the use of the preparation should be discontinued.

If the severity of symptoms increases, or if there is no improvement after 7 days of treatment, you should consult your doctor.

Long-term treatment with homeopathic medicines should be supervised by a physician with experience in the use of homeopathic medicines, as symptoms may occur that are not indicated in the instructions for medical use.
