Product description

The preparation has an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-swelling effect. It is used in the local treatment of post-traumatic inflammation of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints (e.g. caused by sprains, strains or contusions), back pain, limited inflammation of soft tissues (such as tendinitis or tennis elbow), limited and mild forms of arthritis.

Features:

Voltaren Emulgel 1% is a white gel intended for rubbing into the skin. The active substance in this medicine, diclofenac, belongs to a group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations (NSAIDs). Due to the water-alcohol base, Voltaren Emulgel 1% also has a soothing and cooling effect.

Directions for use:

Voltaren Emulgel 1% should be applied topically to the skin three or four times a day, gently rubbing. The amount of gel should be adapted to the size of the affected area: 2 g to 4 g of Voltaren Emulgel 1% (an amount corresponding to the size of a cherry to a walnut) are sufficient to treat an area of ​​about 400 cm2 to 800 cm2. Hands should be washed after use, unless they are the area to be treated.
Do not use the preparation for more than 14 days in the case of strains and rheumatism of soft tissue or for 21 days in the case of pain associated with arthritis, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
If pain and swelling do not improve within 7 days or get worse, see your doctor.

Composition:

Active substance: 100 g of the preparation contains 1 g of diclofenac sodium (Diclofenacum natricum) in the form of 1.16 g of diclofenac diethylammonium salt.
Excipients: diethylamine, cetiol LC, cetomacrogol 1000, Carbopol 974P, isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol, liquid paraffin, perfume (Perfume cream 45), purified water.
