Indications

Zoxin-med is indicated for the prevention and topical treatment of fungal skin infections caused by Malassezia yeasts: in scalp dandruff (flaking of the skin in the form of white, easily separating scales); in seborrheic dermatitis (brown-red spots on the chest and face that peel off as white or yellow scales); in tinea versicolor (small pink-beige or white spots).

Composition

1 ml of shampoo contains: active substance: ketoconazole 20 mg and auxiliary ingredients: sodium lauryl ether sulfate, coconut betaine, coconut oil acid diethanolamide, coconut oil acid glycosides and glycerol oleate, all-rac-a-tocopherol, polysorbate 20, imidourea, cochineal red (E 124 ), fragrance 60910, sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid, purified water.

Action

Antifungal.

Dosage

The preparation is intended for topical use. Apply an appropriate amount of the medicated shampoo to the hair and skin moistened with water, spread until foam forms. Rinse off after 5 minutes. In scalp dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis: therapeutically: twice a week for 2-4 weeks; prophylactically: once every 2 weeks. In tinea versicolor: therapeutic: once a day for 5 days; prophylactically: before the summer period, once a day for the next 3 days.

Contraindications

Allergy to any component of the preparation, pregnancy, lactation.
