Composition

The active ingredient is citrate butamirate (1 ml (22 drops) of the solution contains 5 mg citrate butamirate).

Excipients: sorbitol solution (E 420), glycerin, sodium saccharin, benzoic acid (E 210), vanillin, ethanol 96%, sodium hydroxide 30%, purified water.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active or auxiliary substances of the preparation.

Mode of application

The preparation is intended for use in children.

A single dose depends on the age of the child and is:

children from 2 months to 1 year - 10 drops 4 times a day;
children from 1 to 3 years old - 15 drops 4 times a day;
children from 3 years old - 25 drops 4 times a day.
The maximum course of treatment without a doctor's prescription should not exceed 1 week.

Overdose

Overdose can cause the following symptoms: drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness and hypotension.

It is necessary to take the usual measures for emergency care: gastric lavage, intake of activated charcoal, monitoring of vital body functions if necessary. There is no specific antidote.
