To improve cognitive ability in the elderly (age-related memory and mental impairment); to improve quality of life in mild dementia. The product is indicated for use in adults.

1 tablet contains: quantified dry extract of ginkgo leaves 120 mg (Ginkgo biloba L., folium) (35-67: 1), which corresponds to 26.4 to 32.4 mg of flavonoids in terms of flavone glycosides, 3.36 to 4.08 mg ginkgolides A, B and C, 3.12 to 3.84 mg of bilobalide. Solvent used for the first extraction: acetone 65% (v / v). Other ingredients: tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, lactose monohydrate, talc, magnesium stearate, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silica, tablet coating: polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 3000, yellow iron oxide (E172), talc.

Quantified ginkgo leaf extract improves blood flow in the brain, dilates blood vessels and prevents platelet aggregation.

2 tablets a day (one tablet in the morning and one in the evening). Treatment should last for at least 8 weeks. If, after 3 months of using the preparation, there is no improvement or if the symptoms worsen, consult a physician to determine whether the continuation of treatment is justified. Ginkofar Intense is taken orally. Swallow the tablets with a drink of water. They can be taken with or without food.

Ginkofar Intense should not be used in children and adolescents, during pregnancy and in the case of poor tolerance and hypersensitivity to any of its components; increased bleeding tendency (haemorrhagic diathesis). People taking anticoagulant or anti-platelet medications (called blood thinners) should contact their doctor before taking this medicine. Before surgery, please inform your doctor or dentist that you are using the preparation. It is recommended to discontinue use of the preparation at least 3-4 days before the planned surgical or dental procedures, e.g. tooth extraction. Caution should be exercised in patients with epilepsy. It is not recommended to take the preparation together with alcohol.
